The function of a 5+4 digit indicator is to indicate 2 process values simultaneously or indicate the relation of one process to the other.
As an example, the indicator can be used to show pressure in 2 different units for ease of use.
It can also be used to indicate the actual signal value of the sensor like 4 to 20 mA with the respective readings.
